Hydnum repandum, or Hedgehog mushroom.

"Hedgehog mushrooms are found in late fall on mossy banks, or tucked away in the undergrowth. They taste good, are easy to cook, have no poisonous lookalikes, and tend to be bug free."

Part of a Vancouver Island Mushroom series I'm working on.

Laetiporus gilbertsonii, or Chicken of the woods.

"An orange edible shelf mushroom, known for its meaty texture and bright-orange-to-yellow colouring. It grows on varieties of hardwoods, including decorative plum and cherry trees in urban areas."

Hypomyces lactifluorum, or Lobster mushroom.

"Lobster mushrooms are the result of a parasitic fungus Hypomyces lactifluorum infecting another mushroom, usually Russula brevipes. It covers the host in a hard red-orange shell, and alters its consistency, flavour, shape, and even DNA."

Kinda went overboard on the folds for this one :P, doesn't entirely resemble a typical lobster, I still like it tho. Going to call this one, 'lobster mushroom-like'.

#theWorkshop

Cantharellus Formosus, or the Pacific Golden Chanterelle.

"They thrive in wet, humid conditions, like foggy mountainsides and areas of high rainfall and on sites with relatively good drainage. This mushroom has a fruity smell and floral taste"

#theWorkshop

Pleurotus pulmonarius, or the phoenix oyster mushroom.

"They are spring and fall fruiting mushrooms which grow quickly after heavy rains, appearing in clusters on dead hardwood trees."
