Let's start a thread, something to reconcile uni and fedi: A thread about me doing a Computer Graphics project for the same-name class that I should have started in the beginning of the semester but actually will be doing over the course of 2 weeks: GLAD and GLFW await me...
and I forgot to update it, because of course I'd but there you go: Got a basic window running already because I have done so dozens of times by this point, plan to start building the scene by tomorrow (or rather, today, but when I wake up)
and very late update, but not because I forgot to update it this time, rather because it really took me some time to get working on it again: Got a shader loading system going, plus WIP scene and objects
I have until 10/02 to finish this btw, which in fact should be more than enough, but at the same time oh god oh fuck I have to code everything
I can't make a model in blender and just imported, part of the assignment is actually hard-cording every triangle on the screen AAAAA
Couldn't work on it during the week but at least the basic shaders are done (for color and the most basic objects in the scene), plus I made a handy shader class and minor changes to the project structure so making everything come together into a scene won't be that painful
@engineer_kappa what the hell is that bullshit
@engineer_kappa if u import a model in blender & convert it to c code will they ever be able to tell the difference
@ura hm, idk maybe? Will take a look into it
BTW this project totally floped LOL, but it could have been worse. I just had so much other stuff get in the way, I just barely got past the rendering scene part. But I guess this is cool:
@engineer_kappa Good luck with your RGB cube
@flandrescarlet what do you mean? I already have it
@engineer_kappa but it's not animated nor do I see a thousand instances of it!
