The reboot is commodified, dulled down, and relies on demographic market research which interferes with the creative process.
There's more talent to appreciate besides the visual like writing and music which of course differs from the original.
Fandom is divided between those who thought the original quality from the original talent was better vs those who only see it as a commodity aka " As long as I enjoy it, i don't care what you think. "

I for one appreciate the original & the original crew's quality.
I feel this commodified reboot is disrespectful to them & the original series.
