i may stop for the night and resume tomorrow. 2 hours of constant flipping between two different rulebooks (well, a rulebook and a reference book) has boggled my mind and i am certainly not halfway done (am i a quarter? probably not?)

i honestly have no idea if i like it as a game, because i dont even understand how to perform basic mechanics, let alone their strategic significance. but i want to like it and i am learning.

learning solo is adding difficulty, but given difficulties of other people (players and non-playing roommates) doing it with an empty house still might be the easier option
