There is a high chance that in about 10 years robots will have entert our routine daylife doing reproductive work for us while acting as being humans.

They will act as if they would have emotions and are capable of learning.

In this moment ppl are working on these type of #ai and are pretty far already.

Have a look here: http://www.hansonrobotics.com/

What's your opinion on that?

@paulfree14 these people have pretty good commercials although I remain unconvinced.
Besides, what chore do you want to get rid of? We've got a shitload of machines and tools who're already making our lives as easy as can be.
Water? Pumps and tanks.
Food? Automated cookers.
Fuel? Pipelines.
Cleaning? Vacuum cleaner!
But none of these things are available to most of us. (Not even talking about food&shelter) Having a toy fake human sounds like massive overkill.

@Barbu non of the machines we have today are not really capable of learning and acting autonom.

...most of us won't have it. But it could be available in the 'rich' countrys as the first cars or television have been.
Both have been completly an overkill as the most of us didn't had accsess to simple machines.

@paulfree14 exactly!
We have no use for autonomous and evolving tools, we are autonomous and evolving.
I think this is a very similar issue to the connected stuff. Besides the obvious privacy breach, it's just gizmos. Except if you want to step by step get rid of employees and replace them with machines.
Then, one could hack and takeover entire empires. Sounds fun!
I'm optimistic, I'm sure we'll get back to the true meaning of life eventually.
