For the new #Fedilab, we need your insight. Should we keep the ability to create timelines with #Nitter instances to follow Twitter accounts?

Home > Features > Follow Twitter timelines with Nitter Fedilab Follow Twitter timelines with Nitter Since release 2.27.1 the app allows to follow Twitter timelines by using Nitter which is a free and open source alternative Twitter front-end focused on privacy. The goal of this integration is to allow you to follow several Twitter feeds from different accounts in a same timeline. Twitter servers are never used, and you will never interact directly with these Twitter accounts.

@apps Good question, i don't really know. May be yes.
@apps
Didn't knew this existed... But I already use fritter on phone and nitter's rss on PC
@apps
Didn't know this existed, but yes, please!
@apps
Didn't know that existed but seems like its a nice feature.
It would be good to be able to edit the timelines like deleting unused and adding accounts to the nitter timeline.
@apps I think that may be a job for fritter or a RSS feed reader... The thing is you can't interact with people on Twitter with nitter and that break the purpose of a social app and might confuse people...

@apps
I'd like to have a better way of organizing lists in mastodon. I usually sort the accounts I follow into different categories of interest, like most people do here. But sometimes when I follow someone new, I'll forget to add them to any list. Right now, the only way to see if people I follow are in any lists is to go through all of their profile pages individually and check.

There are some other minor issues as well, but overall I'd say the UI of lists could definitely be improved.

@apps
Didn't know this feature exists. I will definitely make use of this feature. #ossthanks
