So we have the big bad new "omicron variant" of COVID-19, stoking lockdowns and restrictions like we're still living in March 2020. Good god; how long will this hysteria go on? Forever? That's what's going to happen unless we rise up with an indomitable will to make it end.

In another striking echo of March 2020, stocks were down 2% yesterday. I don't even really mind the drop as such; indeed, I bought in. What irks me is how we've allowed fearmongering and safety-cultist rule-by-decree to hold our entire economic system hostage. That's not right.
