How do you #backup your work? What's the maximum efficiency and safety method?

I tried manual backups ofc but I tend to skip and forget and it didn't work.

I tried #luckyBackup backup option but it gathers all the files without deleting old ones so I'd have to keep cleaning my backup which means maybe even more work than just manual backups.

I tried #Nextcloud syncing but it... sync so if I delete a file by accident I'll lose it anyway.
