The California recall election was a lot of money wasted and stress for Democrats, but it showed that the winning ticket is running for good public health measures and against spreading nationwide what Governors Rick Scott are doing in Florida and Greg Abbott are doing in Texas. Purple-tinged Virginia will be another test this fall, where popular Democratic former Governor Terry McAuliffe is running on the typical Democratic platform, while Republican Glen Youngkin is trying to walk the line of not being too Trumpy because Virginia is not a red state but still wanting those voters. When I moved out of Virginia there was a Republican governor and a senator from each party, but I have faith that the blue trend will continue there.

These are lessons for the many gubernatorial elections coming in 2022. Americans don't want to die and don't want our loved ones to die in the name of Trumpism.

The #CaliforniaRecall was a massive waste of money.

That money could have gone to so many important other needs, but then again, Republicans wouldn’t have used that money to help people anyway. Not in a billion years.

The GQP that keeps howling about how their anti-social "freedoms" are being violated is obviously off. They're NOT people any rational voter wants running a government that's supposed to be by and for the benefit of ALL.
