@FranckLeroy "unfettered capitalism" sounds like "dry water". I cannot imagine you can control a society that's based on trade, regardless that you call it capitalism, communism, or whatever isms. As long as you, as a human being, have to trade all of your life to get your basic needs and your wants, then your mindset changes into "Let's play the game nonstop regardless of consequences".
Want food? Go trade your skills, energy and such (we call that a job), to then get some money (currency to represent trades), to then grab that food that is so abundant on earth we throw 30-40% of it all, every year. Want entertainment? Go to youtube, fb, netflix and the like and trade your attention (watch ads), your data, or currency, to get that entertainment. And so, in order for you as a human to live on this planet, you are thrown into this trade game: I do this, to get that.
We are all forced to be charlatans and deceive. It's just that some are better players (such as Bezos or some big companies), and then we all throw digital stones at them online, saying that they are evil. But we all are. It's just that those big players have a greater negative impact.
We need to stop playing this nonsense trade game. We have enough stuff (food, clothes, medicine, houses, electronics, etc.) to create a paradise for us all, without the need to trade for them.
That's my view. And I vocalize it here www.tromsite.com/ in abundance :)
