Now, for one last time....
Vannakkadal references.
True.
Truth bombs are dropped like anything as it is the last book.
Epic.
Last Thirukkural reference in the last book describing why the book was written. Vera level meta :)
"கூடிமுயங்கும்"
So, ultimately the Pudhiya Vedham did not do what it was intended to do?? Then, what's the point? I am asking the same question that everyone asks :)
Good one. Kind of the entire character of Yudishtran.
This line was in Indraneelam. Also, must be one of the two times a direct Sanskrit verse has been used, along with Maa Nishadha.
Naadagam vidum neram dhaan uchcha kaatchi nadakkudhamma!
These lines remind me of this painting.
Krishna (Spring in Kulu) by Nicholas Roerich.
ஒரு செகண்ட்ல கண்ணுல தண்ணி வரவச்சிட்டீங்க!
Guess it has to be this way! :(
I wrote this article almost five years back when I had no clue what Venmurasu is. He is trying to answer those questions in his way.

MAHABHARATHA AND ME - Nandha Kishore's Posts

Nice one. Good finishing touch.
மாமழைக்கண்ணா உனக்கே சரண்!!!!
And, I finish Mudhalavin - Venmurasu 26, and the series herewith. It was an amazing journey through narrative techniques, Thanithamizh, some tearjerking and goosebumps inducing moments, philosophical debates, political questions, existential crises and what not. More than anything, I am simply dumbstruck at the eternity of this epic called Mahabharatha and the way it has travelled with me, posing questions at every point, every juncture in my life, offering extremely different interpretations.
I read it as a kid in a short form, I have consumed form after form as a schoolboy, a college going teenager and as an adult, yet my thirst for the epic and the quest for the questions it poses remains unsated. To quote Jeyamohan himself, "ஒருபோதும் சொல்லி முடியாது இக்கதை".
