@murmuration I’ve known this person since freshman year of high school, so almost 21 years now. We don’t have anything in common anymore! But she won’t stop calling me without notice. I haven’t picked up for her in probably a year. I hardy respond to her texts.

X51@murmuration The more you avoid the situation, the more the other person feels helpless and they try harder. Answer the phone, seem disinterested. Tell them you are busy all the time and give them no reason to keep trying.

@murmuration The truth is the truth. You aren't doing the person a favor by withholding the facts. Then again, I deliver bad news all day. I signed up to be an asshole.
