With help from her internal Element cohort, Jessica manages to track down @TheCorsair. Earth had told her that this woman might be able to lend a hand in what's to come.
@JessicaLaren The Corsair sat, expectantly waiting for the woman with a beer in her hand. She raised it to the woman. "I knew you'd come." She said, with a bemused smirk. "Though fire is normally more my thing. It's rare that the stars align like this."
@TheCorsair "Yeah, well, Earth is mine." Jessica sits down beside the Time Lady and orders a beer. "I suppose an introduction would be redundant," she remarks, shifting to metal.
@JessicaLaren "It's certainly called for, but unnecessary in the long run. My name is... Ellen, I guess. I'm supposed to be dead. I am serious, by the way. There are people who can help, but you seem to be approaching the wrong ones."
@TheCorsair "Not according to this bald, gray woman. She said, and I'm quoting, 'The time traveler will be needed before the end.' So, take it up with her. I'm just here to bring you to the table, so to speak."
@JessicaLaren "She's probably not wrong, but I'm afraid some of us are tangled. I'm not... The person you need. I understand why you'd come to me, but you're looking for grounding, not lighting on fire. You should be looking for the Iron Woman and the Veritas of Time. I think that's the titles they use, now."
@TheCorsair "The... Invincible Iron Woman? And, what, a time goddess? How am I supposed to find them?"
@JessicaLaren "Technically, they are both iron woman." The Corsair paused. "And I can help you find them easily enough."

@TheCorsair "Heh, figuratively speaking, I'm an iron woman.

Lead the way."

@JessicaLaren "This would be a lot faster with my airship." She shook her head. "A friend was teaching me how to do this, but it takes me a bit to lock onto people. If gravitational field alterations make you ill, I suggest backing up a bit."
@TheCorsair "I'm all good," she says, shifting back to metal. "They don't call me Alloy for nothing."

@JessicaLaren "Just checking." The Corsair nodded, and closed her eyes.

"Oh, come on." She shook her head. "Sorry. Unusual local thaumatic field. It'll take a moment to adjust appropriately."

@TheCorsair Jessica had, in truth, never been teleported, or whatever this will end up being. So there's no way of knowing how she'll react.
@JessicaLaren "Ah. There. One gravitic micro wormhole. Are you ready?"
@TheCorsair "As I'll ever be." The wormhole shimmers before them, and Jessica tightens her fists as her metallic body increases in density.

@JessicaLaren "Let's go, then.

I should probably warn you.

Cid isn't very... Cordial."

@TheCorsair "Neither am I, when I feel like it," she replies with a chuckle.

Upon stepping through the portal, Jessica's metal form immediately gives way to her natural appearance. This is accompanied by her bending over and vomiting. "Ugh... Fuck..."

@JessicaLaren "A bit tough on the landing." The Corsair winced. "Sorry about that last step."
@TheCorsair "Ooof..." She exhales and stands upright. "I-I'm good." She's a bit green around the gills. Definitely not fine. "So, ah... This is where Cid is?"
@JessicaLaren "Not... Quite. Must have missed her by just a touch, either in the past or the future." The Corsair checked her scanner. "Future. Ah. The Enterprise should be landing here, soon."

@TheCorsair And in the next few moments, a large craft does make its predicted landing near where they stand. The doorway of said craft opens to reveal an impossibly tall blonde, a bald gray alien with a robotic arm and, of course, the Enterprise's captain, Antoinette "Cid" Stark herself.

"Huh. So we band of sisters assemble."

"Six. I was hoping for more. No matter." She gave Cid a bemused nod of her head. "That suit suits you." She looked to the others, before narrowing her eyes at Csael. "Blue said you were dead."

@TheCorsair @JessicaLaren @MagitekGirl @CsaelOuriae @BeckieMordan @Alterna

"Is 8 better?

Strange. This is NOT the place I was trying to portal to. Must have been pulled off course by something."
