Wellbeing is so much more than absence of illness. It's an emotional, physical, social, existential harmony. It's something fostered by the environment we find ourselves in.
The environments created by capitalism confine us to detrimental lifestyles related to stress especially.
Stress is the embodiment of violent social structures.

There is no way to be genuinely healthy under capitalism.

85% or so of the top causes of death like heart disease, cancer, strokes, etc are lifestyle related and otherwise could have been preventable had capitalism not confined us

Wellbeing and that harmony I mention comes more from stillness. To be in homeostasis. We are always in allostasis - the process of undoing stress and returning the body to homeostasis.

Stress can change gut bacteria which in turn harms immunity and our neurochemistry. Or a plethora of other pathways to sickness or mental illness

We KNOW this. This isn't news anything than the whole "poverty makes 'crime.'"

The issue is we won't implement the findings socially for betterment because it doesn't serve capital. It doesn't serve manipulation, exploitation, and oppression.
