ICYMI, I now have a proper presence in Gemini space: gemini://gem.vectorpoem.com
Since a couple followers were curious about it, Gemini is a newish, deliberately very simple internet protocol that people are doing cool stuff with: https://gemini.circumlunar.space
Much like the web you'll need a client program to browse it, which you can find links to on that project page.
My page doesn't have a whole lot right now but the project log I've started there is not available anywhere else.

@jplebreton Thank you for sharing and introducing me to this JP. I've been having a lot of fun browsing and I enjoy your Projects page.

I'm kinda itching to start a capsule, but don't feel confident enough to start a server. If I requested hosting at gemini://gemini.circumlunar.space, do you know what uploading files would be like? I'm unfamiliar with sftp and TLS, but I'm on a Windows system and do use Filezilla and git (unfortunately 😖) on a daily basis.

@JaronToots Thanks for reading!
I'm actually not sure of the particulars for how other gemini hosting offerings work. Besides circumlunar.space there's also https://flounder.online, which maybe has its own web-based backend?
flounder

flounder is a simple site and log builder for the Gemini network

@jplebreton ohh this looks so friendly, and I hadn't stumbled upon it anywhere. Thanks so much!
