#Scam1992 Harshad Mehta's story reminded me of a Tolstoy story about a farmer, who after being promised the ownership of the stretch of land he could cover by running on a day, ran the whole day without rest to cover the max extent & died out of exhaustion at the day's end.

It was a story of unbridled greed consuming and eventually negating life.#Scam1992 works because it keeps this human element on focus even amidst the technicalities of the stock market trade.

While Mehta's tale is engrossing, I found the parallel story of Sucheta Dalal @[email protected] to be equally captivating.

Episode 6 'Stop Press', which depicts Dalal's efforts to get her story about Mehta's scam published, remains my personal favorite.
