Hey, can the PinePhone run Android apps? Because that'd be awesome, there's a whole /world/ of open source apps we just can't tap into right now because iOS.
@Frost I'm not sure, but i'm getting mine on the 25th (barring any delivery issues) so I'll find out soon!

@holly sweet! =^.^=

We're hoping to get one shortly after That Holiday The Christians Co-opted, ourselves.

@Frost So there is a way for it to run Android apps, through an application known as Anbox, but… I do have to admit the act of installing it on my phone so far with all the fixings has felt like a bit of an uphill battle, one that I’ve given up on for now.

Android in a Box

@Frost There is Anbox, but from what I've read it works poorly - for now. I've tested it once on x86 machine and it's also didn't work well. IIRC the only way to run Android apps with good performance on Linux phone is to get Sony Xperia 10 or XA2 and buy Sailfish OS license; it includes proprietary Android runtime.
