@ponfarr I read a whole book once about how humans want bear friends so bad, and why we keep thinking it might work, and it seemed to boil down to "we just like their cute faces, their eyebrows make them look like they're thinking"

@Pixley @ponfarr just want to clarify, we ONLY need to hang out with the bears. We don't need to, and in fact shouldn't, domesticate them for any useful purpose. What we need is the ability to chill with them, and the wisdom to not put any more demands on them beyond that
