general PSA, not about anything specific:

you don't have to sit and "listen" to everyone online. they are not entitled to your attention. blocking someone on the internet is not telling them to shut up. blocking someone is not censoring them. it is getting up and walking away and you are allowed to do that.

@InspectorCaracal Yes. I can't stand it when people act like blocking someone online is being closedminded or intolerant or whatever the fuck. If someone walked up to you in person and was being abusive you'd tell them to fuck off. If they refused, you'd probably ask someone else for help or leave. Soooo...
