So I've mostly moved to pleroma. Husky's supposed to be the best pleroma based app, and that the anti-SJW rep it's got is supposedly unwarranted and is mostly because of association. Makes sense, sure.

Then this fucking update happens. Whatever fucking argument they had about it just being a misunderstood association is out the fucking window now

And "cybre users are much worse than gab users?" How the fuck? Literally the only people who use gab versus anything else is neo-nazis. There's no reason for anyone else to use it. We fucking gets harrassed by instance users similar to gab all the god damn time.

I don't expect him to "realize he's wrong" or any shit like that. But I certainly hope he knows he just fucking doomed pleroma users to having a hard stigma. And considering a lot of pleroma instances I've seen, combined with the instances that are hard blocked now? I don't fucking blame that. I just feel bad for my friends on here who _aren't_ shitheads, who are mostly pleroma users.

To summarize:

I’m not upset he blocked the servers. Ego bruised, maybe. But. No one on a Mastodon server has any reason to use Husky over Tusky, feature wise.

I am upset that he’s pretty much damned pleroma users to having the stigma of being right wing, while at the same time showing his principles have no spine
