That took much longer than expected, given my impression being that his tabloid has been core to fueling the protests and the fact that he's colluding with a foreigner just by talking to himself in the shower. He's born in Guangzhou and grew up in Hong Kong, but his media group is headquartered in Taiwan and the British Virgin Islands and he owns (but is currently selling off a lot of) property in Taiwan.
