I didn't end up taking final photos of the five total NANDs I constructed, but here's a sample of what I did this morning:

For those using screen readers, these images are of two NANDs soldered to a fibreglass project board.

The problem with this circuit is that the components were too closely, and, despite my efforts, the cheap project board tracks ended up shorting.
The solution to the problem is to put more space between all the components, and use more veroboard.

This will make debugging easier.
