Okay Haiku, I'm officially impressed

qutebrowser & weechat packages

4K real-time webm playback with mpv

This is probably the most advanced !Windows !macOS !Linux !BSD that I've used

4K video playback with llvmpipe on an i5 processor on a niche OS running on a niche kernel

What magic is this

@sir The magic of good software engineering?
@sir the BeOS legacy of fantastic multimedia performance lives on

@sir haiku is some good shit

i would actively be using it for things if it didnt hang on my tablet

@sir i've considered working on the powerpc port for it so i could run it on my ibook and similar...
@sir Is qutebrowser working with something other than QtWebKit?
@sir *sad noises*

Porting GTK for WebKitGTK is going to be painful, WebKitWPE I'm not sure, QtWebEngine would probably be like porting a linux userland.
@sir I knew haiku sounded familiar. I actually remember trying out BeOS way back in the day when I knew very little about computers. I also remember being amazed at the compression level where the downloaded OS was like 50mb and expanded into 500+.
