clown classes, like dnd or something:
summoner -- balloon animals, of course! could launch at first balloon snakes, then bigger animals like giraffes and dogs. only real concern here is how to balance.
ranger -- card throwing, creampies. clowns typically are more close range, at least in my estimation
mid-range -- whip made out of handkerchiefs, possibly a yo-yo that's a clown nose?
close-range -- bowling pin
gun -- self-explanatory
I've been trying to figure out how an actual mime class could work -- the best I have is like a dancer from fire emblem.
Other than that, basic clown related items apply, like maybe a bike horn that sprays smoke for a getaway, or something, but I'd be lying if i said this wasnt a design challenge, at least how im building it
@VictorVeloci a mime class for real has lots and lots of training, cardio, strength, flexibility, imagination, meditation, experimentation, creativity and pushing the boundaries of what you thought your body could do.
@JoeMontana that's absolutely true! i didnt think about it before, but I can definitely see how to flesh that out
@VictorVeloci I don't know if your making a game or whatever, but real mime is essentially about communicating through your body, with no words. If that requires standing on one toe like a snowflake, you have to be physically able to do it.
@JoeMontana So it'd be perfectly reasonable for the mime to be kind of like a close-range delicate brawler? If that's what you're saying, I think I'm going to apply something like that -- the type of player to choose the brawler glass cannon not being able to speak might be a benefit for the team :P
@VictorVeloci I'd say accurate instead of delicate, but yeah sure. There might also be a special move such as jumping high or off a wall or other acrobatics, that enable to shoot behind an obstacle or the second row of enemy for example. They can also sneak and be as still as stone. I recommend you don't send them into battle white-faced :)
