As a stylist myself and the many other ones I have worked with over the past 30yrs, there is a right way and a wrong way to proceed with services in our profession.

In California Licensed cosmetologists are mandated by the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology to receive a MINIMUM of 200 Technical Training hours in Health and Safety. In addition, the sanitation and disinfection practice and requirements of our industry are near clinical. You will not find another industry other than the medical field with a more thorough emphasis and process of sanitation and disinfection.

With proper precautions, preparations and guidelines from the State Board, the risk of contracting the virus through a personal service contact is no more likely than conducting a payment transaction with a cashier at a grocery store.
@IronMan @AgentCarter_SSR I assuming this barber chose not only to break the rules but didn’t follow our industry’s safety and sanitation guidelines
