...and I had a question about when you wrote: "The spambots used various domains in their email addresses, but they all used same email MX domain."

Does that mean you had to block all accounts that registered using email addresses that ended in .mx ??

@brando No I mean we blocked them based on the mail server, not the email domain. So the emails might have been foo.com or bar.com but the mail server was the same: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Message_transfer_agent
