Like, just imagine: if we'd forced them all to cap their earnings at less than one million. Or even less than 250K. I *might* have been spared knowing that Joan Jett supported Kamala "Lock 'Em Up" Harris and now being crushed by painful cognitive dissonance every time I hear a Jett song on the radio.

That "Million Box" finale from that Bugs 'N Daffy cartoon, except that each box with a dollar in it represents the forcible wealth redistribution from some rich asshole back to the people who actually made them the money. :P
