just uploaded an in-browser emulator for playing my #hyperjam entry directly on my website ( or itch.io )

thanks @eel for 99% of the work for the emulator =P

600 mana for the plague

i just actually substitute @eel book.dsk with the hypercard viewer one, so it's tested that anyone of us who used hypercard for the jam can just use the same files in the folder of the linked path and substitute the .dsk with its own, edit the index.html searching/replacing the right name and it's done
@npisanti we should also do a compilation of all the entries imo. haven't gotten around yet to setting that up
@eel now if i think about it, we could just copy all the entries into the viewer boot disk image desktop and then we're done
@npisanti yup, that's all that's left. plus maybe some text/description and stuff, make it pretty
@eel i'm pretty raw in this kind of stuff, maybe we should ask @cancel @neauoire

@npisanti @eel @cancel I'm actually not too thrilled about the idea of making it possible to play the games in the browsers.

I liked that the jam inspired people try think "outside of the browser", and invited people to learn more about the system. I find that the convenience of a simple browser link costs potentially getting people to learn about emulation and diving deeper and having a more mindful experience than that through a chrome tab.

Anyways, it's just how I feel about it.

@neauoire @npisanti @eel That's true. If you don't want to do it, that's fine with me. Though I feel a bit bad about writing about the online gallery in the HyperJam guide page.

I don't like doing web stuff, and I feel like I already put a bit of effort into this HyperJam. I don't want to set up the online gallery myself, and I was relying on someone else to do it. :)
