hagfish fancier v1.618@drwho Wait, I am not skilled at using a desoldering braid but pretty sure I know how you are supposed to do it, maybe I am wrong too?
@pagrus What I had always done was lay the braid over top of the solder and heat it up through the braid. That never worked particularly well for me, and I'd always go back to the desoldering gun.
But heating up the solder and then touching the end of the wick to it, so that capillary action sucks up all of the molten solder? Holy crap, did that work well. That was a revelation.
