Finally got round to replacing the cracked screen of my #nexus5 , it's still going strong after years of use (apart from the battery).

It has stopped getting official #lineageos updates, but seems to be working fine.

@govynnus I think UBports is well supported on that phone.
@claudiom
I have been heavily considering trying UBports or postmarketos, but unfortunately I'm still locked into a couple android apps (namely whatsapp). I've heard Anbox mentioned a couple places, but haven't looked into it yet.
@govynnus Ah yes, I had forgotten about pmOS!

@govynnus BTW, there's also /e/.

@claudiom
Hadn't heard of that, thanks for the info!
@govynnus
That's nice. I still have my Nexus 5, but without a working OS. One time early 2019 flashing pmOS failed; someone on the internet suggested that maybe my flash memory went bad 😞

@zachdecook
You could always give it another go just in case :-)

That phone now has pmOS on it now, though I haven't turned it on in a while. I was going to experiment with sway + on screen buttons rather than using phosh or kde mobile, but never really got round to it.
