I do put a lot of faith in people, but you're right, most people don't think(contemplative). Most people just flow like little automata. =(

@XMTonne tbh I don't really care much if they reset my default to Edge. I enjoy the idea of working on Linux but I have my Windows setup working perfectly and don't feel the need / have the time to switch over. All their telemetry is blocked on a DNS level and other than that I don't think it's a bad OS.

I dual boot one of my home boxes and run VMs in another. Although the work required for setup is still quite high - my dream is to see a palatable open source operating system for the masses.

I'm looking at Ferren for the next big transition OS.

@XMTonne I feel like for many non-techie users most linux distros are fine. My mom only uses her laptop for facebook and email for example.
