I have been thinking about this a lot. Why aren't the banks getting involved in this? Aren't they going to lose a lot of money if VodaIdea just shuts down? Also what happens when Supreme Court wants to punish a company and it ends up losses for banks and the govt?

Also, I think this mess can be traced back to the famous CAG Vinod Rai's calculations of presumptive loss. The Dot seems to have gone into an over drive to prove that the money can infact be made by charging the crap out of telecom companies.

It was sad when Aircel died despite never being a customer, it is going to be sad if Vodfone-Idea shuts. When there is no competition consumers suffer.
