VirtualWolfThis suuuuuuucks. The painkillers stopped doing anything as of about yesterday evening, it's currently almost 6am and I've gotten about four hours sleep because my teeth and gums are hurting too much to fall asleep for any length of time. 😫
herko@virtualwolf what are you taking for the pain? NSAIDs should take the edge off, at least - especially ibuprofen or naproxen.
@herko Yeah the dentist specifically suggested ibuprofen but it did very little when I was trying to sleep last night. :/
@virtualwolf it would’ve probably been even worse without it, not that that should be much comfort. You might as well try naproxen then (Aleve is the US brand name), which is excellent.
@virtualwolf IF they sell Ketoprofen OTC in your neck of the woods, it is a spectacularly good painkiller with a completely different mechanism of action and -not- an opioid.
