“Black and white can transform a scene into something magical.” – Rob Sheppard

If you haven't been to #Ladakh in the winters, pencil it into your list - but go prepared for a -15°C experience. I shot this image this morning at the confluence of the Indus (flowing from right to left) and Zanskar (flowing away to the top) rivers. While I shot this in colour (forgot to dial in #monochrome settings) I realised that it works like a #blackandwhite image.

@Samyukth and just when I was missing your photos on my feed. Here it comes. How is Ladakh? How are you?
Damn cold and so damn pretty, @musafir I have been here several times earlier but always in the May-Sept period. Mustered up the courage to do one in the peak of their winter. And I must say that I will come back here again next winter. The landscape is just mind blowing. Got a few nice bird pics as well.
I still haven't processed any of my Munsyari pics from Dec as my laptop had to get fixed - taking much longer then I thought.

@Samyukth Ladakh in winters is a courageous thing bosss!!!! I was suffering from the laptop problem myself. Got it fixed yesterday.

Keep us posted with nature and beauty. And do take care :)

@musafir Courageous is what is happening in Shaheen Bagh, college campuses across the country and on the streets. I am just being stupid, but sometimes like this stupidity has its upsides;-)

@Samyukth Shaheen Bagh is the most beautiful thing that happened in so many years. And the fire is spreading far and wide now. Women all across the country are getting inspired and coming out to occupy the streets.

But yeah...Stupidity bhi zaroori hai na...
