@dosnostalgic Pretty direct line from me messing with this in 1992 to me learning Imagine3D in 1995 to using 3D Studio R4 in 1996 to me getting a games job in 2000.

@dosnostalgic I love these DOS graphical user interfaces. These buttons, with their 3D lighting effects, promised a bright future, despite using only using a handful of colors at the time (this looks like VGA mode 12h to me). But it became clear that better video cards were on the horizon. Screenshots like these still give me a warm fuzzy feeling to this day.
