I really really really don't get when people are like "fuck your self care, (important thing) is happening." Like, what do you think it means? It doesn't mean don't ever do anything, just be selfish. It means take care of yourself.
You literally can't do anything for any length of time unless you take care of yourself. You gotta care more about yourself than the people who exploit us.
Like do the thing. Fight the important fights. But at the end of the day, we also have to take care of our homes, our loved ones, our bodies, our jobs... All that stuff.
It stacks up, and if we are gonna make a revolutionary struggle that is sustainable, we have no option but to take care of ourselves and each other. Jerry Springer was right
