I managed to catch an error message this time, @hiddensoul, with my #Behringer #Ultracurve 2496 Pro DSP :/

I'm still wondering if it's just overheating...

@phobos_dthorga Yeah I did some reading on people putting fans in and adding small thermal pads with heatsinks to all the IC's in the unit. A company that sells and services them was like of you shouldnt do that but it was working for some people

@hiddensoul This is exactly the same response I received on Twitter, thank you.

Check out the link below, please, if you don't mind. It's probably the same one that you read.

I'm in a bind on whether I should go ahead and modify my #Behringer or not... it is way out of warranty, but I do risk damaging it and it's a very expensive unit.

What do you think, @hiddensoul?

...Heatsinks. 26 of them! OK that's probably overkill but it can't do any harm (provided nothing's touching any neighbouring components!) and they're d

@phobos_dthorga putting a small fan and heat sinks that you stick to the IC's with thermal double sided tape and see what happens, we can try the heatsinks first thats easy

@hiddensoul I'd appreciate that, thank you.

It seems to be okay at the moment though. It must be only the really hot days where it plays up. So we'll play by ear for now ^,==,^
