Well, it's in your hands, not theirs. Politicians may do whatever political things the find suitable but independence is in your hands exclusively. Take the streets until they got no option. It's the only way. If you expect independence will come from some higher instances without lots of sacrifices of all kind, you'll never get it. In the end politicians will not take strong positions if they do not see people ready to take strong action.

@30degreesminus absolutely agree with you, but most of our people think that indy will come from some kind of messiah.
And, in fact, after people on the streets we wil need some leaders or speakers, and I barely doubt these come from our actual politics.

You got one leader in Belgium, but he cannot do people's job. It's a revolution what you are doing in there. Once the streets are occupied permanently for long periods of time, politicians, leaders or whatever will feel confident to do the job.
1. Disobedience
2. Permanent mobilization
3. Resistance
And this "No sleep 'till Hammersmith" style.
Once the politicians realize you are ready and determined, then they will have to act as required.

But we will persist, we will fight and we will win. But I don't know when!
