@antihetero IDK I thought Poussey's father's speech was the clincher. Guard had responsibility, abused it, oh now you feel bad? the time for that has passed. Go atone for your own sins, create your own forgiveness, it's not the victim's job to help.

Shows how screwed up it is that "the system" puts irresponsible, unethical people in positions of unlimited responsibility and maximum ethical demands. How screwed it is that our society takes good people and turns them into toxic monsters.

@antihetero too often you get these hard-outside squishy-inside people in roles of super-responsibility and inhumanity, and they are callous brutes when in power and intellectual "victims" once caught. Brock Turner style. And this is previewing what happens to those people: fuck you, you fucked up, your crocodile tears mean nothing now. Try feeling genuine pain for your fellow human BEFORE you do something horrific.
