@Pat_Maloney @arthurstramash The SNP have been existence since 1934. They have spent more effort in last 3 years fighting a Brexit that they couldn't change
They have had multiple mandates
They are played by the media
They were on right parh with Alex
Last 5 years were the biggest anti climax yet they had the most MPs ever
Labour won Scotland for years and the SNP are making the same mistakes. They take the people for granted with false promises with saying they have a plan !!

No one is allowed to criticise the SNP- I spoke to local MSP a few times about how they deal with media
1. I said the Party should appoint a Chief Political officer to deal with media- He laughed and said we know what we are doing!! He was a fool as it didnt work🤔
2. Dont get ambushed 3/4 to 1 on debates
3. Ditch the BBC/STV
4 They should have funded Indy Live, Broadcast Scotland
5. 56 Mps in Commons could have caused uproar, they did nothing- 1 walkout!!

The SNP are constantly criticised from all sides. Just google "SNP" to see all the negative spin.
Unfortunately BBC/STV is where a lot of voters get their info. A boycott of broadcasting would be cutting off nose to spite face. I agree with you that there should be more support for pro-indy media. More walkouts would only have generated more SNP bad spin. However, after they say no to indyref, I would expect more disruptive parly tactics at Westminster.

But by and large I think SNP leadership are doing a good job, juggling priorities of which the rest of us are only barely aware. Constructive criticism to be welcomed from Yessers, but constant demeaning of SNP parliamentarians is a gift to our enemies.

But countering the machine of the Brit media and WM is no walk in the park. They will only get more creative the closer we get to indy. So Sturgeon et al have to play a chess game ensuring no future hostages to fortune, eg, once in a generation. I don't think we could currently have a better FM and leader of the movement. She doesn't need us making her job any more difficult than the BritNats already do.

I dont disagree with Nicola bring clever but when going onto MSM to repeat the same answer on a lie is losing. She needs to start saying ' next question, that has been answered'
Control the narrative and you will control the media.
If the SNP dont change strategy its the same old Q & A
