@derekhallenstein For long, the USA and Canada have been irresistible attractions to the people of this region. Success stories from the 1950s and 60s still rule local lore in rural communities, and the decline in agrarian income coupled with shrinking shares of land leave them vulnerable. And there is a well organised bunch of crooks exploiting them.
