@scrip the code could be used by someone else and you don't have a ticket anymore. In the worst case somebody sells your ticket online to a third person.

@scrip @heimdall be aware that there is no way to check the ticket apart from the QR code on the ticket at the conference cash desk. If someone uses your ticket before you, there is no way you're getting a wristband.
