I’m running two at the moment: a small instance on a VPS for files I need available everywhere and a high capacity local-only machine that is basically my shared file system with selective sync and cross-platform sharing.

They’ve been up for about 8 months and so far I’m very happy.

Depending on your requirements they can be set up very easily with the snap package.
