Sure, ok, I'll try #Lexember for a little while. Maybe I can finish a decent lexicon for my #ehw #conlang: https://lexicon.ga/170

I've got a couple days to catch up on, so here we go! Be warned, this might not produce many interesting words, but there are a lot of *necessary* or at the very least *useful* words that I really need to create.

I'll try to keep them all in a thread on this post for convenience.

#Lexember Day 2 Double Feature!:

"pet pet" (Noun)
pet, friend, cutie, ally, hero
A thing that is cute, good, and/or friendly.
https://lexicon.ga/170/66

"bad bad" (Noun)
enemy, evildoer, criminal, monster
A thing that is bad, ugly, and/or hostile
https://lexicon.ga/170/64

Fun Fact: A lot of words in the #ehw #conlang are derived from doubling a root word. Both of these words are doubled forms of adjectives!

#Lexember Day 3:

"med wud" (verb)
say, speak, talk
https://lexicon.ga/170/72

Fun Fact: Many verbs in the #ehw #conlang are constructed from the words for "make" (med) and "do" (du) paired with a thing that is made or done!

#Lexember Day 4:

"du hed" (Verb)
think, decide, lead
https://lexicon.ga/170/81

Fun Fact: This word is constructed from the word for "do" (du) and the word "hed" which means "head, top, leader" (https://lexicon.ga/170/79) because the head is on top of the body and does the thinking!

#Lexember Day 5:

"huded" /hu.ded/ (Derived Adjective)
contained, held, secured, comfortable
https://lexicon.ga/170/85

Fun Fact: Derivation happens in several ways in the #ehw #conlang. Appending "ed" to a verb creates an adjective from that word that means the state of being caused by the verb. When a verb ends in a vowel, the "ed" acts as a separate syllable with a glottal stop, but it modifies words ending in a consonant so that the consonant creates a syllable with "ed".
