Hilarious how men will suddenly remember all their issues and problems the very minute women mention theirs.
Nobody is saying men have perfect lives. You are human, you face issues too. Problem is, you only remember them the moment women start recounting and narrating their hardships—like a petulant child who is unhappy with not being the centre of attention.
I am not entirely sure, but don't you think it could be partially because boys often still grow up in an environment where *showing a weakness* is discouraged. Talking about feelings and painful things in life also belongs in this category.
So maybe telling about ones shortcomings might be another *very crude* way of trying to comfort someone...
