Hi world, what do you guys think on #pocketnet? Does it sound serious? For whom don't know what it is all about, see the link https://pocketnet.app/

@pioneer I have no practical experience to share, but PocketNet have a series of blog posts on #Medium: https://medium.com/@cryptolo.io. Of course, theyโ€™re talking about themselves, but maybe it can help you make your mind.

@Doudouosm thanks, I'll have a read! First observations: 1) the account creation took a long time (it said "please wait", maybe blockchain issues) 2) instead of liking I can put a score from 1 to 5 to a post, and then an average score is shown 3) it works fast, looks nice but the list of topics I see if way less interesting than in the Fediverse community, not even talking about Facebook or Twitter
@Doudouosm Another set of random thoughts on #pocketnet: 1) relatively easy to join and use 2) it has all the apps - desktop, mobile, web 3) in the Fediverse, if you don't like the UI, the behaviour, you can just set up and customise your own instance or even implement a completely new type of "social service" from scratch, in #pocketnet you're stuck in what is offered AFAIK 4) notifications on mobile don't work properly
