The first #pine that has started growing these... I don't even know how they are called in English. :) It's like some proto branches.

Anyway. The most important thing is that it's growing! Upwards! :)

@SeventhMagpie
Is it korean pine? The cone looks like it.
@CircleAnA Yes, it is! :)
@SeventhMagpie So, like, tou have full forests of theese where u live? Asking bc i recently got interested in potentially growing pine for nuts, and Pinus pinea wont grow where I live (central europe) bc its too cold. Would you be keen on a seed-swap potentially some time in the future?

@CircleAnA Why not? :) Only I don't know what international export/import rules are for mailing seeds. But on principle I don't see any problems.

Korean pine is native here. These forests are home to leopards. :)

@CircleAnA You just need to keep in mind, that they live up to 600 years. So it's a long time until you get to see nuts from them. :)
@SeventhMagpie Yes, I know they are slow to develop, so it would be planting for the next generations.
Let's keep in touch, ok?
Also, tell me what seeds would you want from europe. Ill also try to check the seed inport rules.
