@audreytruschke Imagine how Alamgir would have been perceived if he had the tolerance and the wisdom of Akbar? He was the richest King in the world at that time I think according to what I read. He was successful in keeping Kadahar inside Mughal empire which exchanged control all the time.

@audreytruschke Interesting, he is often portrayed as a scholar, learner, inclusive and affable. Is it accurate that Dara got the Upanishads translated in Persian?
