it doesn't just warn for animal death anymore. a ways back it started adding more and more content warnings.
it's gotten to warning for specific kinds of deaths, specific kinds of trauma and abuse, hatecrimes, specific mutilations, addictions, etc.
it's really really helpful for people with any kinds of triggers for stuff like that.
@Satsuma @vee As you may know, the premise is of a colony spaceship where all the passengers are in cryostasis for the long journey. One manโs pod malfunctions, and he wakes up, with no way of re-entering that state - by the time they arrive, heโll be dead. So heโs got an entire ship with no company beyond robots.
He winds up reading about the other passengers, and begins developing a crush on one of them, reading her stories, his wishes for them as a couple.. and eventually wakes her up too, condemning her to the same fate of dying en route, for his sake alone.
Bonus chuckles: he pretends her waking up was /also/ a malfunction.
Somehow, I understand they wind up in love. Naturally. O.o
