Sabarimala verdict: SC transfers it to seven member bench. CJI says the practice of restricting women into the premises exists even in some mosques.
The 7-member constitution bench of the Supreme Court will now not only hear cases related to the entry of women into the Sabarimala temple, the trial will also hear the practice of Muslim women entering mosques and dargahs and 'circumcision' of Parsi women.
Since there was no word about the stay on 2018 verdict, until the final judgement, women of all age can enter the sabarimala shrine temple.
